The rectangular top with cushion frieze is supported on four square chamfered and bracketed legs terminating in ebonised block feet. The exceptionally refined all over geometric decoration of bone inlays, exotic woods and complex mosaics encloses four proverbs which read:
‘Who does good, good finds him/her’
‘A generous person fulfils his promise’
‘Calmness is the master of morals’
‘Integrity is the apogee of dignity’
