The fronts, top and sides with book matched geometric walnut veneers, crossbanded and holly strung borders with green stained sycamore bands and marquetry flowerhead motifs. The short, tapered legs have similar decoration.

These sophisticated and well-crafted pieces suggest an aristocratic commission.
