A LARGE GEORGE 1V MAHOGANY DINING TABLE
ENGLAND CIRCA 1825
This finely figured mahogany dining table consists of two ends and four original leaves. Each end extends with a skilfully constructed oak pull-out mechanism. There are eight well carved turned and reeded legs with stylised acanthus capitals. The four central legs are cleverly inset so as not to inconvenience diners.
This is a handsome table almost certainly from a leading cabinet maker, utilising the best timber and in outstanding condition.
