Ribbon Agate and Engraved Silver Table Snuff Box

The rectangular box with canted corners has a silver gilt body encasing a Sardonix lid and base. The silver is engraved with stylised flowerheads and foliage.

White with brownish striped chalcedony from Chemnitz-Altendorf (Volcanic of the lower Permian ‘Rotliegend’ from the Erzgebirge basin.
