A Fine and Rare Mason's Ironstone Chinoiserie Chimneypiece

Circa 1830.

 

The shaped raised mantel upon a frieze set with scroll work, the sides topped with moulded lion dog masks upon moulded supports, decorated with printed chinoiserie panels on a pale blue ground. 

 

The two upright sections with printed Mason’s mark to the reverse.
