The well figured fruitwood chairs of wonderful mellow colour, the pearwoodcock-pen lattice backs clearly influenced by the Chinese designs of Thomas Chippendale.

The chairs with shaped top rails with inverted, rounded corners and the backs with sharply chamfered uprights to the reverse.
