Ebony Specimen Table

Ceylon | c. 1840

The table of solid ebony, the hexagonal top with particularly detailed inlaid specimen work, a characteristic of the Galle District, a single drawer to one side with solid ebony linings, supported on a double ‘C’ scroll base.
