Measurements: Width 53 ½” (1356 cm) Height 49 ½” (116 cm)
Although the quality of the gilt gesso work on this impressive over-mantle is exceptionally fine, the only record of the maker which we are able to find is a trade card circa 1800 in the Johnson Collection at the Bodleian Library.
