Two Pairs of Gilt Wood Mirrors by Ciceri, Mantica & Torre

Edinburgh Scotland | c. 1860
Two Pairs of gilt wood mirrors in the Venetian manner. They are of cartouche form with gilt frames and mirrored borders, etched with garlands of flowers. Each is surmounted by a cartouche adorned with
C-scrolls and fitted with a small bracket, originally fitted with candle sconces.

Trade label verso Ciceri, Mantica & Torre, 81 Leith Street, Edinburgh.

The mirrors have been re-gilded and the small bracket dividers and one of the central plates have been replaced.
