An Ebony Collector's Cabinet

The cabinet with two doors with finely carved radiating ribbed panels and with corresponding panels to the sides, the doors carved with vertical ribbing to the reverse
and opening to reveal an interior arrangement of fifteen drawers surrounding a central door carved as the outer doors, the solid ebony drawer fronts all similarly leaf carved with a central recessed roundel and graduated button knobs, twelve of the drawers bearing old paper labels for predominantly Northern European countries including Russia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark.
The cabinet with a scrolling leaf carved pediment and on a fluted plinth base, raised on a later ebonised oak stand.
